European Parliament Simulation
On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, an educational event titled "Simulation of the European Parliament" was held in our school’s assembly hall. The event was attended by our ERASMUS group students and coordinated by Ms. Evangelia Georgiou from Europe Direct ELIAMEP Attica.
The students from the ERASMUS+ programme participated actively in the simulation and the topic of the conference was: "Fake news."
The main aim of the conference was to familiarize participants with decision-making and the legislative process of the European Union, particularly the ordinary legislative procedure in which both the European Parliament and the Council of the EU are equally involved. During the simulation, the students took on the roles of Members of the European Parliament, representing EU countries and political groups.
The students were prepared and coordinated by the program managers, Ms. Tsiaprazi, Ms. Tauzi and the director, Ms. Moutafi.
